Exhibitions: Having exhibited at a number of international exhibitions, Joseph Walsh was invited to exhibit a large scale art installation at SOFA Chicago 2007 while in 2008 he presented his first US solo exhibition at the American Irish Historical Society in New York
Collections: Joseph Walsh’s work is in Museum, Corporate, Liturgical and Embassy Collections and has been acquired by many private collectors. He has also been commissioned by the Mint Museum in Charlotte, North Carolina to create work for a project entitled TEN TEN TEN featuring work by just ten artists worldwide.
Curating: Joseph Walsh is Director and Curator of a major touring exhibition which explores the origins, evolution and role of a number of craft disciplines in Ireland and Japan; ‘Ireland + Japan; the Makers Hand’ will tour in Ireland, Japan and US in 2010 -2112
Lectures: Joseph Walsh has lectured on his work at a number of venues including The National Museum of Ireland and the Design School at Harvard
Create: In 2002 Joseph Walsh established the organisation ‘Create’, curating exhibitions of work by Irish designer makers in 2003 and 2005
