"Erosion I" Low Table
DESCRIPTION

"Erosion I" Low Table

Concept: Layers, rings, or repeated accumulated mass as a natural mechanism for the measure of time becomes the inspiration for the Erosion low table. As a tree grows it adds mass in the form of cambium layer, annual growth can be measured accordingly. The Erosion low table is an exploration in layering as it is found in the natural and built world, how those layers record time and how they are shaped by time. The Erosion table is sold individually or as a set of six. The piece was originally conceived as a “river canyon” with the tables running from dining height to low tables approximately 24 feet in full length.
