The "Crosswinds II" console is an evolution of the "Crosswinds" console which created in 2010. All of Coffey's consoles are unique works made by hand, not manufactured, and each design is inspired by nature. This curvaceous console features carved ridges that are nearly four inches deep in some areas. Coffey always uses the traits of the wood—its color and grain—to harmonize with the design of each piece. This magnificent large console is made from American Black Walnut, which Coffey loves for its wide range of colors. Inspired by the natural wear of river rocks, the "Crosswinds" console comes on a 6" high lucite base - giving it a "floating" appearance. It can also be mounted on a wall. The interior is white oak and each of the four cabinets has one oak shelf.  The finish is a satin-matte. Coffey has now entered his eigth decade and his career as sulpture artisan spans nearly fifty years.
